HPC Industrial Services , powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Vac Truck/Equipment Operator to join our dedicated and safety-conscious team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, including Roll Off Trailers and Dry Vans, while also engaging in physically demanding tasks.

Your primary duty will involve managing customer environmental programs by collecting waste from client facilities and transporting it to a designated Thompson Industrial location or other disposal sites. This role places you as a vital point of contact for customers regarding environmental and hazardous waste management.

WORK SCHEDULE: Rotating shifts, including days and nights. Overtime might be required.

EXPERIENCE WITH: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Trucks, Warehouse/Manufacturing, General Labor, Production, and Industrial Field experience is a plus but is not mandatory!

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a safety representative, adhering to company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment hands-on.
• Utilize special equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Perform operations involving pumping equipment, vacuum trucks, and chemical cleaning tools.
• Inspect surfaces cleaned to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment in use.
• Manage tasks related to liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
• Lead a crew of vacuum technicians when necessary.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer sites.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections and comply with all vehicle policies and DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses; unload waste at disposal sites.
• Perform general maintenance in the field.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Relevant vocational training and practical safety experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, particularly for safety and emergency situations.
• Valid driver's license; CDL Class A or B is essential.
• Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device use.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be needed.
• Knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment like fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks is advantageous.
• Familiarity with equipment used in wet and dry vacuum processes.

What does it take to work for HPC Industrial?

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A or B CDL License is required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements are preferred but not mandatory.
