Night Yard Driver

Location: Honolulu, HI

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22-$25/hr

Shift: Night

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Driver to join our team. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and containers within our yard. You will be required to operate a variety of equipment, including yard tractors, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently move trailers and containers within the yard
• Operate yard tractors, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation
• Communicate with other yard personnel to ensure efficient movement of equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized yard

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating yard tractors and forklifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and safety

Physical Demands:

• Sitting, standing, walking around the yard
• Outdoor work environment
• Work in various weather conditions
• Operate equipment such as forklift, company vehicle, electrical/manual pallet jack
• Ability to lift to 50lbs as needed
• Some push/pull/lift/carry as needed
