Job Summary:

We are seeking a Wireless Macro Construction Manager (CM) to oversee the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The CM will lead the execution of tower construction, coordinate with various stakeholders, and handle any challenges that arise during the construction process. The company must remain untraceable, maintaining confidentiality in all operations.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight and Management : Oversee the construction, upgrade, and modification of wireless macro sites, ensuring project timelines and budgets are adhered to.

Line and Antenna Installations : Supervise the installation and alignment of new antennas and line systems on cellular towers, ensuring optimal signal coverage and performance.

Site Assessments and Surveys : Conduct site surveys to evaluate tower condition, structural integrity, and suitability for new installations or modifications.

Equipment Upgrades and Modifications : Manage and coordinate upgrades to tower equipment, including antenna replacements, adding new lines, and updating power systems to improve network capacity.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all upgrades and modifications comply with local zoning, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Coordination with Vendors and Contractors : Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely delivery of materials and equipment, as well as smooth execution of work.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, change orders, and as-built drawings, ensuring all modifications are properly documented.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : Address technical challenges that arise during tower upgrades or antenna modifications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service restoration.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety above all other considerations on site.

• Schedule project resources and allocate time efficiently to meet deadlines.

• Collaborate with supervisory personnel, contractors, design professionals, and owners to resolve issues.

• Assist the Project Manager in preparing budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking.

• Interpret and understand project plans and contract terms in coordination with the Project Manager.

• Address delays, bad weather, or emergencies to maintain project timelines.

• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and ensure the contracted scope is completed.

• Supervise workers and oversee QSA programs.

• Manage supplies and materials required to complete the project.

• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness.

• Implement environmental protection programs and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

• Direct and supervise the Tower and Ground Lead positions.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience: 3-6 years of tower construction management experience preferred.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, safety regulations, and building products. Strong leadership, project management, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to interpret and understand complex project plans.

Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred. PIM and Sweep Certifications a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing tower construction projects for carriers such at AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile

• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

• Additional certifications in safety or construction management fields.

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Full-time position with working hours typically Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime and weekend work as needed.

• Up to 30% travel annually within market.

• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds, stooping, bending, and working outdoors in all types of weather.

• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
