Compensation
$31.25 per hour
Job Summary
Maintains and repairs equipment, vehicles, and/or facilities used for carrying out the operations.
Main Responsibilities
Assign drivers to trucks and provide accurate directions to pickup and delivery facilities
Build and receive purchase orders for all dispatch/trucking and equipment as needed.
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
Maintain the control board for accuracy
Other duties as assigned
Perform all other duties deemed vital or assigned
Provide oversight to ensure all vital labor, materials, and equipment arrive at each job site in a timely manner
Receive and maintain communications with crews regarding job status, problems, customer satisfaction, payment, etc.
Supervise daily activities of trucks and generate operational reports
Education
Minimum of 2 year's experience in dispatching construction equipment and trucks
Skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent planning and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with truck and highway construction activities
Highly diligent individual with the capability to multi-task
Knowledge of FMSCA regulations is a plus
Knowledge of GPS technology
Must have general knowledge of highway systems
Strong data entry, phone and customer service skills
