Hospice RN Job Details – Paducah, KY

• Position Title: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)


• Location: Paducah, Kentucky (serving Fulton, Hickman, and Carlisle Counties)


• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract


• Healthcare Setting: Hospice care, home visits


• Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (8-hour shifts)


• Shifts per Week: 5


• Total Hours: 40 hours per week


• Contract Length: 13 weeks


• On-Call Requirement: Backup on-call 1-2 days per week


• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,733 - $1,926

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent hospice RN experience (within the past 3 years) (required)


• Proficiency with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) (required)


• Experience with OASIS documentation (required)


• Active Kentucky or Compact Registered Nurse License (required)


• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)

Hospice Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate hospice nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Fulton, Hickman, and Carlisle Counties


• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans using HCHB and OASIS


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes


• Educate patients and families on hospice services, symptom management, and end-of-life care


• Participate in backup on-call rotation 1-2 days per week as required
