Summary:

Kumon is seeking a Training Specialist who will create, design, and facilitate training programs for prospective franchisees, new and existing Instructors, Associates and potentially other audiences. They will evaluate the learning effectiveness of content during and after the training sessions, as appropriate, which may involve visiting centers and conducting research.

***This role requires the candidate to work in the Rutherford, NJ area.***

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • 2 - 4 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively design/facilitate/present training programs as assigned (IDP, Core Training, Field Workshops, KC, EFL, etc.)
  • Revise/update overall training programs and specific modules based on changing needs of stakeholders, company vision, and initiatives
  • Prepare materials for each session
  • Assess learning during and after training (may involve visiting centers and interviewing Instructors and Field members)
  • Maintain knowledge/skills to effectively design/facilitate training materials and programs to reach various types of learners
  • Complete other responsibilities/tasks as assigned, such as creating on-line learning modules and developing student case studies
  • Written feedback for trainees to support their ongoing development
  • Stay up-to-date on current activities and expectations of various roles across KNA and integrate expectations as appropriate into training programs.
