The company is looking for a Test Supervisor to join the team in Adelanto, CA.

Job Description:

• Manage Lab team involved in the test during all the process (coordinate all lab teams as instrumentalists, mechanics, photo team, acquisition team, etc.).
• Run the tests coordinating all involved teams.
• In contact with the lab manager, with the engineering team in charge of the test or sometimes with the client, schedule and plan all tasks related to the vehicle preparation.
• Check that the requested tasks to prepare the vehicle are done under the customer’s specification.
• Take care of the quality of all the process and work done.
• Take care of the order and tidiness of the lab organizing the appropriate tasks.
• Analyze the feasibility of the new testing modes, cost to be implemented, etc.
• Improve the process to increase the quality and the effectiveness of the operation.
• In contact the respective department supervisors, facilitate the request all staff and tools required to run the crash test laboratory.
• Preparation of the vehicle to be measured: Rad the checklist with the requirements, apply stickers and mark points, dismount vehicle trims (if needed), etc.
• Measurement of the vehicle using a 3D measurement equipment (CMM) before and after test.
• Static measurement of the vehicle through a 3D measurement equipment (CMM and scanner) before and after trial.
• Realization of the measurement report (CAD, excel...).

(Note: These tasks are not intended to be all-inclusive. You may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the company)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly.

Job functions:

• Must be able to stand, walk up and down hills, bend, kneel, sit for lengthy periods, and use hands for various functions such as typing and using various hand tools.
• The ability to work extended hours as needed. Required availability for daily overtime and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
