$18.00 for 2nd shift
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Stand up Forklift Operator with proficiency in operating stand-up, sit-down, and/or clamp trucks. This role is essential to warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products, materials, or equipment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and familiar with handling fragile or high-value items using specialized forklift attachments such as clamps.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
Handle and transport goods including pallets, boxes, and fragile products with clamp attachments
Accurately pick, stage, and place materials in assigned warehouse locations
Inspect equipment after each use and report any maintenance or safety concerns
Follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent product damage
Use RF scanners, shipping/receiving software, or manual logs as needed
Assist in inventory counts, quality checks, and general warehouse duties
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in work areas
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and basic computer use preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Preferred:
Experience handling paper rolls, appliances, or other high-value or delicate materials with clamp attachments
Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics setting
