Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Senior UI/UX Designers to join our fast-paced startup environment. This role is heavily focused on UI design (70%) with UX responsibilities (30%), requiring candidates with technical, industrial, or systems-oriented design backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have experience spanning both physical product design and digital design, or strong foundations in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

Key Responsibilities

• Execute UI-heavy design work with exceptional creativity, translating art direction into compelling user experiences
• Take full ownership of projects from concept to delivery while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Collaborate with design team to maintain consistency across all products and platforms
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma and other design tools
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Work closely with engineers to implement designs within technical constraints
• Lead design reviews and presentations for leadership team
• Incorporate business objectives into design process with strong business acumen

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional design experience
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating technical/industrial design background
• Experience with both physical product design and digital design preferred
• Background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) highly valued
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Notion, Slack, Linear.app, and similar collaboration tools
• Proven ability to work closely with engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
• Startup experience preferred with demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments
