ADB is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join the corporate accounting team. This role is responsible leading the monthly close process, managing budgets, and analyzing the financial impact of operational decision on the company finances. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized and customer centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the monthly close process for multiple companies by preparing journal entries, conducting analyses, and performing general ledger account reconciliations

Manages all Support and Operational group budgets; prepares for and conducts monthly meetings with department leaders

Has expert understanding of the accounting system and workflows; performs system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy across modules

Prepares complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports

Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements

Ensures proper accounting for complex non-recurring transactions, makes appropriate decisions on accounting and reporting issues, and evaluates performance and business trends to support growth and improvement

Maintains and reconciles fixed asset and depreciation schedules

Performs other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069

This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment

This position may be required to use standard office equipment such as phones, computers, printers, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

5+ years of Accounting experience required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent required

The starting pay for this position is $75,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
