Sales and Scientific Advisor in Biology / Biochemistry in Boston (USA) This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and target driven PhD graduate to join a fast growing company with high quality life science products desirable for the research, biotech and diagnostic markets. Dedicated to serving scientists, Biotrend US belong to Clinisciences Group. Clinisciences was founded in France in 1981 and now operates internationally, across Western Europe, Northern Africa and the USA. Since conception Clinisciences has innovated and pioneered with strength in Cytogenetics and stands today with a broad range of Life Science solutions catering the full spectrum of life sciences research and diagnostic applications. JOB TITLE: Sales and Scientific Advisor STARTING DATE: ASAP in 2025 The candidate should be located in Boston or less than 30 minutes far from there by car or public transport. There will be travels 4-5 days a month in the East Coast and 8-10 days a year in the whole USA for attending congresses. In a routine way, the Sales rep will be home-office 1 day a week (all Mondays) for admin day and visiting laboratories on-site from Tuesday to Friday.

PRODUCTS:

Biochemicals, chromatography, protein expression products, cell culture products, lab equipment, research antibodies, ELISA kits, RNAi, custom synthetic peptide and recombinant proteins, PCR/qPCR reagents.

ROLE:

Attain business development objectives by building relationships with high value research laboratories and promoting awareness of Biotrend’s products to the research, biotech and diagnostic markets.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Responsible for managing and growing business in existing and new accounts. Satisfy scientific and technical expectations from customers. Report your activity and performance to management. Acquire, maintain and keep up-to-date an in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on customers, business potential, competitor activity and market trends. Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers and opportunities to add to the customer base. Constantly develop selling skills and scientific knowledge. Follow company strategy using approved marketing materials when dealing with customers. Negotiate and manage contracts. Participate in tender submission. Develop and deliver presentations and proposals. Host and assist with product shows, exhibitions and conferences.

JOB PACKAGE:

Gross annual salary: 80-100k according to Sales experience + bonuses based on Sales targets (up to 20k additional). Paid holidays. Smartphone. Expense Reimbursements: Travel expenses, meal allowances for client meetings. Professional Development: Budget for training, conferences.

PERSON PROFILE:

PhD in Biological Sciences preferred. Driven and dynamic personality. Motivated self-starter with an ambition for a sales career.
