Your Role and Responsibilities

As an RN I, you will:

• Build Relationships: Establish connections with patients, families, and the healthcare team to collaboratively create effective care plans.
• Enhance Teamwork: Respond positively to requests for assistance and foster healthy relationships in the workplace.
• Improve Patient Care: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing department scores for turnover, retention, and employee engagement.
• Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Conduct assessments, assist with exams, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Advocate for Patients: Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care and address any clinical or ethical concerns.
• Ensure Quality and Safety: Follow established standards of care and contribute to improving quality and safety targets.
• Manage Time Effectively: Display self-motivation to prioritize tasks and document care in a timely manner.
• Engage in Growth: Participate in evidence-based practice projects and seek opportunities for professional development.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: No prior experience required, but minimal clinical nursing experience is preferred. If you have less than six months of clinical experience, you will need to complete our nurse residency program.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Texas State Licensure or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Working Conditions

• Be available for on-call duties during emergencies.
• Not be required to travel outside the Houston Metropolitan area.
