Primary Responsibility:
Safely feed/pack product glued on the machine to acquire quality product at the desired target speed of each run.
What You'll Do:
Feeding: Remove blanks from a pallet, check for quality, and place them into the feed hopper of the gluer machine.
Packing: Fill corrugated cases with the proper case count, ensuring proper fit.
Quality: Maintain quality standards, sort defective parts, and communicate with Machine Operator, Supervisor, and Quality Control staff.
Teamwork: Work with others to improve operations, reduce waste, and maintain lean manufacturing goals.
Cross Training: Rotate to different machines and work areas.
Machine Downtime: Utilize downtime by performing other tasks associated with maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills.
Language Skills: Clear communication in English.
Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Commitment and Availability:
Regular attendance and punctuality are fundamental requirements. You must also be available for overtime work when necessary.
