Sturdy Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician to support our ambulatory practices. This position offers a unique schedule for the right provider who wants to work nontraditional hours. Our ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and excellent bedside manner to care for our patients. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care to a broad patient population, including preventive care, acute diagnoses, and management of chronic conditions; ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies; prescribing medications and other treatments as appropriate; counseling patients on health maintenance, nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention; coordinating care with medical specialists and other providers as needed; maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to privacy regulations; and upholding the highest professional and ethical standards at all times. The schedule involves working evenings and weekends to accommodate patients with nontraditional schedules, with no on-call or overnight hospital coverage required. The ultimate schedule is flexible, ideally a combination of weeknight and weekend hours. Requirements include BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, passion for primary care, regular availability during non-traditional hours, current medical license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain, and desire for work/life balance. The job is located at multiple ambulatory locations in Massachusetts including Plainville, Attleboro, Mansfield, North Attleboro, and Rehoboth.
