**Powder Coat Painter I/II**
**Location:** Sherrill, NY, US **Position Description**
**All Shifts available**
**Job Responsibilities**
- Sets controls on powder application equipment according to set procedures.
- Cleans and maintains the environmental room and powder coating booth to avoid powder contamination.
- Ensures best coverage of parts while working to maintain the highest line speed.
- Maintains coating thickness to meet established quality standards and determines corrective actions as necessary.
- Performs basic maintenance on all system equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned

* Basic reading skills
* Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
**Education**
High School diploma **Experience Requirements**
1 year of related experience
**Physical & Environmental Requirements**
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material. Generally good working conditions. Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours) Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
