We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a large workforce spanning multiple locations. Based in Waco, Texas, this role involves overseeing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations, and managing a dedicated remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee weekly payroll processing for over 10,000 employees across multiple locations.
• Supervise and mentor a remote bookkeeping team, fostering accountability and encouraging growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across 43 states.
• Manage the accurate processing of wage garnishments, levies, and other payroll deductions.
• Conduct and review payroll-related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and enhance payroll systems to align with organizational needs and evolving regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient payroll operations and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and reporting.
• Address and resolve complex payroll issues with professionalism and expertise.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive payroll information.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in high-volume or multi-location environments.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll laws, multi-state payroll operations, and wage & hour compliance.
• Proficiency in processing payroll for large employee bases, with experience managing over 500 employees.
• Familiarity with payroll software systems such as Paylocity or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in wage garnishments, payroll tax filings, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to confidentiality.
