Our client is looking for a Occupational Health Nurse to join their team in Dodge Center, MN
Location: Dodge Center, MN
Start Date: March 10, 2025
Pay Rate: 47.10/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Overtime as needed)
Our client, a leader in heavy manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse for a temporary role covering maternity leave. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees while maintaining compliance with occupational health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical and psychological nursing care to employees, offering health guidance and support.
Manage workers' compensation claims , ensuring timely resolution and effective return-to-work strategies.
Oversee the early return-to-work program and collaborate with legal teams on claim management.
Conduct employee health training and maintain compliance with OSHA programs (hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, pulmonary function testing, etc.
Manage the substance abuse program and act as the CEAP Coordinator
Administer DOT random drug testing and coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and annual medical monitoring . Maintain OSHA 300 logs and all required reports to meet governmental compliance.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Valid Wisconsin RN License
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of state workers compensation laws and health & safety regulations
