Were seeking a dynamic and empathetic AbilIT Trainer to deliver interactive training in workplace readiness and foundational IT skills. You'll empower participants through accessible, personalized instructionequipping them with the soft skills and technical know-how they need to succeed in todays workforce.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging, inclusive instruction (in-person or virtual) in topics such as digital literacy, professional communication, resume writing, and introductory IT skills.
• Use accessible teaching strategies and toolsincluding visual supports, assistive technology, and simplified contentto meet diverse learner needs.
• Support participants as they prepare for industry-recognized certifications like CompTIA ITF+, A+, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
• Monitor learner progress, adapt instruction as needed, and celebrate growth.
• Collaborate with job coaches, support teams, and employer partners to ensure participant success in training and beyond.
• Assist with curriculum development and continuously improve training resources to reflect evolving industry and learner needs.

What You Bring

• Associates or Bachelors degree in IT, adult education, special education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or training adultsespecially in inclusive or accessible learning environments.
• Knowledge of IT fundamentals and related tools/platforms (e.g., Windows OS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
• Exceptional communication, patience, and adaptability in diverse learning settings.
• Passion for disability inclusion and a learner-first mindset.
