The House Calls Medical Assistant/Scribe (CIS/MA) is an essential part of our innovative home-based care program. This role involves collaborating closely with a House Calls Provider to support clinical care, logistics, and precise documentation for patient visits. Key Responsibilities: Schedule daily home visit logistics and routes. Accompany Providers on home visits to ensure quality care. Perform vital signs checks, administer vaccinations, conduct point of care tests, and assist with blood draws as required by state regulations. Educate patients and families on healthcare processes and medications. Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, assessment, and treatment plans. Ensure proper coding (CPT and ICD-10) for clinical documentation. Manage administrative tasks including orders, referrals, and follow-up communications. Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care and operational improvements. Maintain and manage medical supplies and equipment effectively. What We Are Looking For: A genuine passion for primary care and supporting vulnerable populations. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: State or national Medical Assistant certification (as mandated). CPR or BLS Certification required. At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Ability to travel within designated service areas; valid driver's license and insurance necessary. Experience using Electronic Medical Records and proficiency in computer applications (Gmail, MS Word, Excel, etc.). Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Work Schedule: Full time with anticipated weekly hours of 40. Pay Range: The typical pay scale for this position is $18.50 - $38.82 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and location.
