Our company exists to promote and protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We do this by designing, building, and supporting security and intelligence products. Our core expertise is in small, lightweight, high performance multi-mode radar systems for unmanned and manned aircraft. We cover the entire life-cycle, often beginning with defining a market where none exists, designing and building the product, training the customer on how to use the system, and supporting it in the field.
We have some exciting opportunities and we are looking to grow our team by bringing on a manufacturing assembler. We need someone with the skills and experience required to help build radars and sub assemblies. Our manufacturing department is one of the best teams you'll ever work with, and our engineering team is located in the same building. We have many different versions of our products, and there is always something exciting and new to work on. You'll be constantly learning, evolving and cross-training.
These are some of the things that we require:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and write in the english language
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment as needed
- Ability to monitor the quality of assembled parts and components, and report nonconformities
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to company safety policies
- Ability to maintain accurate records and timekeeping
These are some of the things that are important to us:
- The ability to work with one's hands and to build complex items
- Prior experience in mechanical trades, manufacturing, or assembly
- The ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembly electro-mechanical systems
- Providing technical assistance and resolution when problems are encountered before, during, and after assembly.
