Job Title: Machine Operator (Night Shift)

Openwork is partnering with a client seeking a skilled and dynamic Machine Operator to join their team on the night shift. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s production equipment during nighttime hours. You will be responsible for setting up and operating various production machines, maintaining high performance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate straightening, polishing, and drawing equipment.
• Configure and manage cutting, annealing, coiling, hydro testing, degreasing, and cleaning equipment.
• Utilize welding skills for repairs and adjustments on production equipment as needed.
• Operate cranes and other manufacturing machinery as required.
• Ensure maximum efficiency throughout production processes.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trailers with finished products and materials.
• Utilize micrometers, Vernier calipers, and tape measures to ensure precise measurements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with welding techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and measurements.
• Experience operating a forklift with a capacity of 15,000 pounds or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to work the night shift from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Pay Rate:

• Starting at $17 per hour. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for a higher rate based on qualifications.
