The Emerald Family Medicine clinic is now hiring for a motivated and adaptable Medical Assistant !

Position Summary & Highlights

• This position will work with a busy Family Medicine provider and collaborate with other MAs and providers in a care team environment.
• The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group on Emerald near Curtis Road provides family medicine, occupational medicine, and urgent care services, just one block from the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

What You Will Do

• Perform primary MA duties, phlebotomy, administer immunizations, and prepare injections.
• Assist with minor procedures, complete point-of-care tests, and manage tasks in the inbox.
• Ideal candidates enjoy fast-paced environments, are adaptable, dependable, and work well in team settings.
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills are essential.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours/week, 4-10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
• During training, work Monday to Friday, 5-8 hour shifts, transitioning to a 4-10 schedule.

• 6051 W. Emerald Street, Boise, ID 83704, near Boise Regional Medical Center and Curtis Road.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent at hire.
• MA certification required within 90 days from approved agencies such as AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCT, NHP, AMCA, NPCE MA.
• New graduates need a certificate of completion from an accredited program or school, with either a 100-hour externship or 6 months MA experience.
• Experience or certification as a Medical Assistant, with at least 1 year experience or certification obtained/renewed within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network.
