Gotcha Security began as a commercial surveillance company specializing in CCTV design and installation. We expanded our services to include intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and gate entry. We have helped a variety of businesses across Georgia, including multi-family communities, homeowners’ associations, hotels, warehouses, and commercial buildings. The Technical Manager is the SME responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for all solutions and services offered to our clients. This includes hardware, software, and systems used internally to support clients, as well as internal systems such as printers, networks, servers, and phones. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the products and solutions we provide. Research new products for future offerings. Provide training and technical support for field installers, technicians, and clients. Develop best practices for equipment and solutions installation and service. Establish and maintain quality control procedures for service and installation. Research and implement tailored solutions for client needs. Maintain company service standards and profit margins. Document processes and training guides in Trainual. Major Duties The following list is not exhaustive; the Technical Manager will determine the best approach to meet objectives. Collaborate with vendor technical support to resolve issues. Configure networks, IP addresses, subnets, wireless devices, cellular communicators, and alarm systems. Visit client sites to resolve escalated issues. Program equipment before installation. Attend manufacturer training sessions. Update internal installation and service guidelines. Resolve remote support tickets. Configure client site systems in the company's system. Requirements Qualifications and Experience At least 5 years’ experience in related fields. Effective communication skills. Ability to interpret work orders, SOPs, and safety rules. Ability to work independently and in teams. Understanding of advanced concepts and technologies. Experience in developing processes and training programs. Physical Requirements Ability to ascend/descend ladders, work in confined spaces, and near loud machinery. Work in trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels. Recognize exposure to live circuits and operating machinery. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manipulate small hand tools. Sit for extended periods. Licenses Valid driver’s license for Georgia and ability to operate a pickup or van. Benefits Salary between $75,000 and $85,000 depending on experience.
