Our leading manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Logistics Supervisor for our overnight shift. The ideal candidate should be bi-lingual in Spanish and have a strong background in scheduling, planning, and production. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and supporting our global supply chain. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including production, sales, and procurement, to coordinate and manage logistics operations. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all overnight logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely production schedules.
2. Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Coordinate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow and meet production targets.
4. Monitor inventory levels and manage material resources to meet production requirements.
5. Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards in accordance with company and regulatory policies.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any logistics-related issues or delays.
7. Provide leadership and training to the logistics team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
8. Use data-driven approaches to analyze, improve, and report on logistics performance.
9. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and reports as required.
10. Handle any other logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
4. Proven experience in scheduling, planning, and production.
5. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software.
10. Ability to work overnight shifts and handle the physical demands of the job.
11. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
12. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
