Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Location: San Leandro, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $81,000 – $90,000 annually, DOE

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing brief, evidence-based therapy within a medical setting. The clinician will work alongside primary care providers to identify and treat adult patients facing common behavioral health conditions, ensuring accessible and coordinated care.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop short-term treatment plans.
• Offer targeted interventions tailored to primary care populations.
• Screen for mental health and substance use issues using standardized tools.
• Partner with medical and care coordination staff to support patient goals.
• Lead group sessions focused on coping skills and wellness strategies.
• Accurately document progress and interventions in the EMR system.

Requirements

• Master’s in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (APA-accredited).
• Licensed in California (LCSW, Psychologist) or registered ASW/AMFT (clinical supervision available).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy to diverse or underserved populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
