Job Summary:
Cutting Edge Landscaping is seeking a reliable, experienced, and motivated Foreman to join our landscape construction team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on landscaping experience who can confidently lead a crew, help manage job sites, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities and crew members.
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of landscape construction projects.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
• Assist in physical landscaping tasks as needed
• Communicate efficiently with project managers, suppliers, and clients
• Maintain a safe and organized job site and enforce health and safety policies.
• Track job progress, materials, and labor, reporting any delays or issues (Foreman)
• Provide training, mentoring, and feedback to crew members.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape construction, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hardscaping, softscaping, drainage, and site grading.
• Capacity to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Proficiency with landscaping tools and machinery.
• Competent in operation of a skid steer – excavator experience a bonus.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs a must)
• Valid class 5 driver’s license, minimum 3-year clean driver’s abstract
