Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician where you'll leverage your basic working knowledge of industrial automation and automated manufacturing technologies. You'll work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, vision systems, and other similar equipment to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues.

Pay starts 27-38/hour based on experience and level of education.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment including sensors, switches, and proxy switches.
• Read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.
• Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wires.
• Replace or repair belts, chains, or cables on machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on industrial automation equipment.

Essential Skills

• Basic understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and vision systems.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years experience in Industrial Maintenance

OR 0-6 years experience with :

• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Automation, Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. OR Industrial Maintenance Diploma, Journeyman Card, or Industrial Maintenance Certificate Program Completion.

Work Environment

The facility is a new construction with a clean and climate-controlled environment. The massive battery manufacturing plant operates 24/7, with maintenance teams working on a 3-2-2 pattern of 12-hour shifts, there are only opening on night shifts currently. Shift rotations are not required for hourly positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
