Description

The Community Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an RN to work as a member of the Quality and Education Team at the Albany Hospice office on 445 New Karner Road. This position is exempt, working 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) – schedule is primarily days but may require an occasional evening or weekend educational session with our colleagues.

Responsibilities

• This position will be responsible for auditing documentation, scrubbing and submitting data to meet CMS regulatory requirements.
• The Quality/Nurse Educator also works as part of a team to support our field clinicians through education, clinical mentoring, coaching and Quality-driven activities.

What You Will Need

• NYS RN Licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in a health related field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 yrs RN experience required
• Strong communication skills and ability to prepare and present materials to a group.
• Previous hospice and/or educational experience a plus!

Pay Range: $38.70-$52.10 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”
