 Are you a financial leader ready to launch and scale a new business line? In anticipation of a new vertical backed by our award-winning national staffing services organization we are seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) to oversee the full financial operations of a new Payroll and Employer of Record (EOR) services division at Diverse. 
 This is more than an accounting role. The GCFO will provide end-to-end financial oversight, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability in a multi-state, high-volume payroll environment. You’ll own the P&L, lead audits, oversee tax compliance, and implement scalable financial systems for long-term growth. 
 Key  Responsibilities:Lead  hands-on audits of all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, tax, and reporting.Manage multi-state payroll processing compliance, including W-2/1099 oversight.Oversee P&L, margin, and revenue growth, reporting directly to  ownership.Implement  financial controls, risk management practices, and automation tools.Build and lead a high-performing finance team in a fast-growth environment. 
 The Ideal Candidate:10+ years of senior finance leadership (CFO, VP Finance, or  Controller)Experience  leading in a Payroll, HR Tech, Temporary Staffing, or related service industry.Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll, tax law, and  compliance.Experience  managing high-volume financial operations for a privately held U.S. company.CPA or MBA preferred, with proven track record in scaling financial systems.Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable with audit-first financial  discipline.Availability  to work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.
