Job Description

Location: Food Processing Facility (5,600 sq ft) Team Size: 10–12 Employees Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year (based on experience) Overview COMPANY is seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our food processing facility. This role ensures safety, quality, and efficiency across all production activities. You’ll manage a team of 10–12 employees, collaborate with leadership and QA, and help drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are bilingual (Spanish/English), detail‑oriented, and ready to grow into a leadership role. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular safety trainings and toolbox talks Investigate incidents and maintain safety records Serve on the Safety Committee and ensure OSHA compliance Identify and report facility safety concerns Drive employee engagement and morale aligned with company values Coach and develop team members Lead by example and demonstrate AF leadership traits Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and SQF standards Maintain strong relationships with USDA inspectors Validate food safety documentation across multiple sites Support audit readiness and product consistency Oversee daily plant operations and performance Plan staffing based on budget and production needs Manage equipment and facility upkeep Execute production schedules and ensure material availability Promote continuous improvement initiatives Monitor KPIs to reduce waste and improve yield Report costs and recommend process improvements Maintain accurate inventory and rotation practices Supervisory Duties Hire, train, and evaluate production staff Assign tasks and manage workflow Address employee concerns and foster development Ensure operational efficiency and team accountability Qualifications Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to perform essential duties (accommodations available) Minimum 5 years in food manufacturing (preferred) Fluent in Spanish and English (required) HACCP and Food Service certifications Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations (required) Proven leadership and budget management experience Health: Medical (with company contribution), Vision, Dental, Basic Life & AD&D Retirement: 401K with 1% company match Perks: Bi‑weekly cell phone reimbursement 50% discount Sunlife EAP access (after 30 days) 7 paid holidays (including New Year’s Day and Good Friday) Benefits Health, dental, vision, life, short/long term disability insurance 401(k) offering Paid time off and holidays Paid sick leave where applicable by state law Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
