At least 10 years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing is a must. Minimum an Intermediate SQL knowledge. At least 10 years of extensive professional experience in Quality Assurance. Hybrid/In office presence might be required - Chicago In this position, Quality Engineer will be responsible for ETL process Data testing within Master Data Management (MDM) system, Data Warehouse as well as legacy platforms. The successful candidate will deeply understand the needs of the organization and determine how to best test modeled data, as well as maintain and improve the health of our existing data warehouse objects and ETL process. Quality engineer is responsible for planning and executing manual and automated testing activities on new and existing products to ensure that they meet the Business, Functional and Technical specifications and maintain high overall product quality. Ability to thrive in a project-based environment with evolving requirements. At least 10 years of hands-on experience in ETL process testing is a must. Strong hands-on QA experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a must. At least 10 years of extensive professional experience in Quality Assurance. Strong hands on experience in RCA, Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis, heatmaps & reporting. Deep understanding of Development and Test cycles, including respective best practices. Strong hands-on experience using SQL complex queries for results validation, data mining and evaluating foreign key dependencies. Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and support external teams in development of resolutions. Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages (C#, Python, JS, PowerShell etc.) is a strong plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, aggregate, analyze, and wrangle significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Hands-on experience with Kodda or SSIS packages is a strong plus. Strong communication and Client/Business interfacing and interpersonal skills are a must.
