POSITION DETAILS Expect your typical day as an EH&S Consultant in our Property & Casualty department to be focused on the following initiatives:
- Risk Management: Analyze client safety programs and risk management strategies including hazard assessments, accident analysis, safety disparities and loss trends
- Documentation: Develop client publications such as policies & procedures, manuals, and bulletins. Prepare & maintain loss control reports for clients and company records. Conduct ongoing research on safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, DOT etc.)
- Client-facing Support: Develop and present client presentations and trainings

- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field required
- Minimum of 5+ years work related experience in the safety field.
- Intermediate level knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and state/local regulations
- Exposure to multi-industry safety environments
- An insurance background is beneficial, but not required.
- Proven ability to transfer data driven reporting, modeling, and forecasting into comprehendible strategies
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficient skills in Microsoft PowerBI
- Proficient virtual communication skills-preferably Zoom
- Strong presentation skills and a high level of comfort speaking to large groups, or in a group setting
WORK ENVIRONMENT - The ability to walk and be on feet for an extended period. Walking assessments of facility, plants, and construction sites is a given.
- This position requires travel capabilities. A valid driver's license is necessary to provide self-transportation to client meetings, events, and seminars. Local travel up to 50%. Overnight travel up to 20%.
