Title : Electronic Test Technician

Location : near Waukesha, WI 53072

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Salary : $55k-$60k

Job Summary :

• Repairs PC boards, following schematics, departmental test procedures, and standard electronics skills, returning all boards to original specifications, using hand tools and test instruments.
• Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment as necessary.
• Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts, using hand tools and soldering irons.
• Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
• Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Maintain proper repair records.

Requirements :

• 1 year of experience in PC board repair
• Previous experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment as necessary.
