We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Trade and Pricing to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive strategic pricing decisions, oversee trade promotions, and manage financials to optimize revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies, trade promotions, and financial management. This role is instrumental in shaping our company’s market position and achieving our financial targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market positioning.
2. Manage the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) process, including planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
3. Utilize Exceedra or Telus systems to drive pricing and trade promotion decisions.
4. Oversee the company’s financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Conduct monthly reporting to provide insights into revenue, pricing, and trade promotion performance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing and trade strategies with overall business objectives.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform pricing and trade decisions.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pricing and trade promotions.
9. Provide leadership and guidance to the pricing and trade team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in revenue management and Trade Promotion Management (TPM).
4. Proficiency in Exceedra or Telus TPM systems.
5. Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
7. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
9. Ability to navigate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
10. Strong business acumen, with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach.
