This critical role will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and contributing to the organization's strategic financial planning. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc.), adhering to GAAP.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management and the board, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting revenue and expenses, considering business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.
• Manage all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors, facilitating smooth audits and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.
• Proactively identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Research and interpret technical accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance.
• Review contracts and advise on the financial implications of complex transactions prior to execution.
• Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and investments, contributing to long-term financial planning and growth strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is required.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership position.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and related regulations.
• Required: Experience with NetSuite.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
