Join Clean Harbors as a Class A CDL Truck Operator and be a key player in our team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various heavy and light-duty trucks at customer sites. As an integral part of our commitment to hazardous waste clean-up, you will operate vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, making a difference in environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health and safety practices are followed at all times.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers to foster a supportive team environment.
• Load and unload trucks while adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs, time sheets, and reports as required.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations while operating vehicles safely.
• Prepare vehicles with proper placarding to adhere to DOT requirements.
• Contribute to site remediation and equipment decontamination duties.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Proficient with various mobile devices.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Must meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Previous Hazmat handling experience.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience in manual labor roles.
