Join Clean Harbors as a Class A CDL Truck Operator to work with various heavy and light-duty trucks at our customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. Your role will involve both driving and assisting with the hazardous waste clean-up processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks, and collaborate with field laborers.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations.
• Keep accurate daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Observe corporate operating guidelines and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Assist in site remediation and equipment decontamination tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Competency in using various mobile devices.
• Capability to perform physical tasks associated with the job.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Prior experience handling hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with manual labor duties.
