This position is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting a goals-based management system for the Agency that involves strategic planning and accountability for fiscal and managerial results; Agency-wide budget, resources management and financial management functions including program analysis and annual planning, budget formulation, preparation and execution; controls and systems for disbursements. The CFO provides data, advice and policy options to the CEO and senior management to assure that CHA programs and resources are managed with the same principles of integrity, customer service and effectiveness that contributes to the CHA mission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience as a senior financial executive. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or public administration with an emphasis on financial management required. An M.B.A. strongly preferred. Incumbent must be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. Additional requirements include: strategic vision with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus; well organized and self-directed individual who is mature and a team player; intelligent and articulate with the ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
This position is generally performed in an office with uniform temperatures. Travel to city, state, and federal agencies, as well as CHA developments is required as needed.
