Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Certified Surgical Techto join our team in a vibrant community nestled amidst stunning scenery! This 13-week contract offers the chance to utilize your surgical expertise while exploring the hidden gems of Western New York.

Job Description:

• Assist surgeons in a fast-paced OR environment, ensuring a sterile and efficient surgical field.
• Prepare the operating room, instruments, and equipment for each procedure.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide sterile supplies and instruments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications:

• National Board Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with orthopedic, general, ENT, vascular, and gynecology cases.
• Proficiency in sterile techniques, surgical instrument handling, and operating room protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining patient safety.
