Job Description
Newly created part-time position, with benefits, for a Certified Surgical Assistant available in our state-of-the-art surgery department. Duties for this Certified Surgical Assistant position include working in a team-oriented environment performing closure of wounds, providing retraction and assisting during procedures for mostly orthopedic and general surgery cases. You will have the opportunity to gain experience working with robotics in orthopedic procedures. The Certified Surgical Assistant may also assist with sterile processing duties as needed.
Hours for this Certified Surgical Assistant position are primarily day shift, 0.80 FTE, approximately 64 hours per bi-weekly pay period. Monday – Friday, with varying hours between 6:00 am – 5:00 pm, with some on-call required.
Previous relevant surgery experience strongly preferred. Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) Certification and CPR certification required. Minimum starting pay rate $35.34 per hour depending on experience. Apply on-line at
