We cultivate a positive, welcoming environment where we prepare students to thrive in any academic setting The Job: We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring high-level math courses. Proficiency with classes like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Calculus are a must. The ability to tutor SAT/ACT is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals
- Tutoring multiple subjects effectively
- Strengthening students' study habits and identifying how each student learns best
- Motivating students who need that extra oomph
- Working with up to three students at a time
- Being engaging, nimble, and professional
- Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions
- Attending team meetings and other Tutoring Club events

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree)
- 1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work SOME of the following: Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Ability to commit to one year with Tutoring Club
