Zermatt Utah , located in beautiful Midway, Utah, is seeking dedicated, driven individuals to join our Banquets team. With 65K square feet of meeting & event space, specially equipped to host large conferences and events!
Our Banquet Servers are responsible for serving guests at banquet and convention functions. Other responsibilities of Banquet Servers include performing any necessary pre-shift work; maintaining a clean and sanitary environment; ensuring compliance with all local and state health codes; assisting in controlling food and beverage costs; completing assignments given by the Banquet Captain and Banquet Manager; greeting all guests in a courteous manner, displaying a helpful attitude; anticipating guests' needs, and ensuring guests are provided with water, coffee, tea, or beverages in a timely manner; unloading trays in the service area, racking glassware, scraping plates, and separating silverware; and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment both in the banquet rooms and in the kitchen, including refolding napkins and cleaning between courses, and keeping the station clean, neat, and supplied at all times; completing assigned breakdown and closing side work. Must have excellent verbal communication and guest service skills. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds & be able to tolerate extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, bending & twisting. Previous job-related experience is preferred but not required. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Utah food handler's permit. Must have a very flexible schedule, able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
