Position Summary:

The Assistant Curriculum Coordinator will provide administrative and curricular support to the Office of Medical Education. Working closely with the faculty, curriculum coordinators, and senior leaders, the role will ensure the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the medical curriculum while handling the day-to-day office operations. This position reports to the Director of Medical Education.

Essential Functions:

Curriculum Support

  • Assist with editing, formatting, and maintaining the course syllabi.
  • Assist the curriculum coordinators in preparing materials for the foundational courses, such as materials for active learning sessions.
  • Assist with uploading and organizing materials, schedules, curriculum mapping, and evaluations in the learning management system (LMS), such as CANVAS and One45.
  • Assist faculty and curriculum coordinators with the course sessions, which include setting up and breaking down the session, distributing course materials, and tracking attendance.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.

Administrative Support

  • Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies and other materials as needed.
  • Responsible for processing reconciliations and reimbursements as needed.
  • Organize in-person interviews and candidates’ campus visits, including travel arrangements, creating the itinerary, setting up the candidate’s presentation, etc.
  • Support the Office of Medical Education team with operational and administrative daily activities.
  • Support special events and other projects for the Office of Medical Education.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties logically related to the position.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of administrative experience are required.
