Position Overview
Oversee and direct operations of several surface aggregate production facilities, including safety, personnel, production/inventory management, maintenance planning/forecasting (fixed plant equipment), reclamation, and P&L responsibility.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or five to 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced understanding of production methods, processes and supervision of large groups is essential.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Possess strength in writing routine reports and correspondence. Effective written and oral communication between customers, direct reports and other members of the management team is essential.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Additionally, must be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to deal with variable situations to solve practical problems and establish standardization within the facilities.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid condition airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and may require protective equipment.
