We are helping an established AI company pioneering new approaches to data development find Africana Studies /African American Studies Subject Matter Experts in African History .

In this role you ll support a research department by developing difficult domainspecific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree (holder or candidate) faculty or professional expert in African History African Studies History African American Studies or other relevant field

• An academic or professional focus in African History

• Recent experience in the field as a

• Professor/Lecturer/Instructor

• Graduate Assistant

• Undergraduate or graduate level teaching assistant

• Researcher

• Editorial board member

• Consultant adviser or professional in the field

• Strong English grammar writing editing and proofreading skills

• The ability to write clear thorough yet succinct summaries

• Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials

• Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks

• A reliable computer and internet connection

• A signed NDA and completed background check are required

• Previous experience in Test Item Writing Exam Development Exam Scoring or AI is a huge plus
  

Benefits

This is a 412 week independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and is ideal for candidates located in U.S. time zones and able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.

1 or more years of experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) position, preferably in AI or Annotation. The ability to understand QA workflows, provide guidance to trainers, and identify issues Previous experience training a Large Language Model (LLM) Bachelor\'s degree or higher, ideally from a school located in Hong Kong Thoroughly familiar with the cultural particularities and terminology of Hong Kong from having lived there for the majority of your life Exceptional, native proficiency in Traditional Chinese including different writing styles, grammar, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. At least C1 Level English proficiency Ability to produce high-quality written work Ability to quickly identify errors and inconsistencies A strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in your work
