Responsibilities
Teach private lessons & group rehearsals for piano/keys students (all skill levels)
Use the School of Rock Method™ , books, and Method App for lessons
Write engaging lesson plans that challenge and inspire students
Communicate with parents on student progress via notes & assignments
Prepare students for live performances
Help with rehearsals and upkeep of lesson facilities
Model energy, professionalism, and stage presence
Qualifications
2+ years teaching and/or professional performance experience
Skilled in piano/keys across multiple genres (rock, pop, funk, etc.)
Strong music theory knowledge and curriculum design experience
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Patient, positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching
High school diploma or equivalent required; music degree preferred
Requirements
Willing to undergo a background check
Evenings/weekends required
Must be in-person
