Dr Gregory Difelice:
As an Orthopedic Surgeon I know that my surgical results are only going to be as good as the therapist who works with the patient post-operatively. The surgeons all know that the therapy is almost as important as the surgery when it comes to good patient outcomes. Matt Iselin, PT, Cert MDT has been one of my go-to-guys for many years. I send him my most complex post-op patients because I know that they will be in good hands and I have never been disappointed. I am happy to hear that he is opening his own facility and wish him the best of luck with the new endeavor. I recommend Brooklyn Health Physical Therapy to all of my patients from the area.

I had a total knee replacement 2 years ago. Shortly after my operation, I developed scarring which prevented my knee from any movement at all. Matt Iselin became my physical therapist who I saw 3 times a week for 4 months. Going through therapy was probably one of the most difficult challenges I ever had to face. I truly believe that Matt's knowledge, commitment and understanding was the reason that I was able to persevere the therapy and at the end was able to walk out with my new knee that can now walk 3 miles a day. Matt made me do the work that I needed to do. If there is an award for The Best Physical Therapist In The World- I would nominate Matt!

After I had my baby, I was elated…and at the same time, struggling with physical and emotional postpartum issues. My OB and general practitioner had long waits for quick, cursory visits. They would either tell me I was fine or would offer to prescribe something, but I felt like no one was listening to what I was experiencing and trying to look at me as a whole person…until I met Gopi.

Gopi is more than a physical therapist, she is a healer – a true rarity in today’s health care climate. More knowledgeable than most doctors I've seen, she listens and observes, and brings her wealth of experience with other patients to treat my issues…and she does it all with a sense of humor and a manner that puts me at ease so that I feel comfortable talking about things I never dreamed of sharing. In a short time, I have seen amazing improvement from Gopi’s treatments.

Last but not least, it’s worth noting that you will never find yourself waiting for an hour to see Gopi, as is the case with so many doctors today. Her appointments run on time, thanks to her professional and courteous office staff. I have recommended Gopi to several of my friends, and each of them has been similarly pleased with their results.

When I was referred to Dr. Jhaveri after my surgery I could not sit, stand or walk for any length of time, along with a severe case of incontinence. During the initial visit she examined me, asked pertinent questions relating to my surgery and listened intently to my concerns. Even though some of the questions were of a very personal nature Dr. Jhaveri was professional and made me feel very comfortable with this situation. When I returned for my next appointment she had developed a one on one program to target my specific needs. After several visits I began to get some relief from my constant pain. I don’t believe you will find anyone else as knowledgeable, caring and as compassionate as Dr. Jhaveri. She will always go the extra mile to help you get the most out of your visits with her and will give you the correct regimen of exercises to do at home to shorten your recovery time.
